anonymous attack isis twitterThe horrific terror event of a hell bent individual killing 49 innocent people in Orlando, FL has been a major travesty that the world is observing with wide-open eyes. In a stark opposition of ISIS, who the killer in the Orlando, FL shooter pledged allegiance, the Anonymous hacker group has taken it upon themselves to deface ISIS accounts over the Internet with anti-LGBT content.

An Anonymous hacker group member who calls himself WauchulaGhost, has moved on to new tactics of taking over ISIS Twitter accounts that have anti-LGBT content. In the past, WauchulaGhost has been known for the actions of posting nude images of women on Twitter.

The flaw in Twitter's service allowing for such behavior is being exploited by ISIS-owned accounts to publish anti-LGBT images over the social network. As an opposition to the ISIS Twitter accounts, WauchulaGhost is hacking into the accounts to deface them with pro-USA and pro-LGBT content.

In the past, Anonymous has been in the mix of hacker groups who take action to attack those that they oppose certain views or actions. With the horrific Orlando, FL shooting, claimed as the deadliest mass shooting in the USA, Anonymous appears to be doing what they can to show their support for the victims, who were of the LBGT community.

The surprising part of WauchulaGhost's recent actions is that there is some degree of irony in that he was recently on a spree of posting content similar to what is despised by his religious beliefs. Moreover, in WauchulaGhost's quest to celebrate "love" through the hacked ISIS Twitter accounts, he is showing support for the USA, which may have been on the short list of Anonymous' governmental targets in the past.

As Softpedia reports on the recent actions of one of Anonymous' members, the number of ISIS-owned Twitter accounts defaced is currently low, in the hundreds. However, the actions are not going unnoticed and may provoke ISIS in ways that we haven't thought.

Those intrigued by WauchulaGhost's actions against ISIS can follow his Twitter account @WauchulaGhost and stay abreast of his accomplished ISIS Twitter account defacements. Additionally, a snippet of the Twitter account relevant to defacing ISIS-owned accounts can be viewed below.
