AIM 1.87 is a hacking application created to exploit AOL. AIM 1.87 may steal user's passwords and mislead other AOL users with a large amount of instant messages supposedly sent by the infested user. AIM 1.87 was created to take control over AOL. We are not stating that AOL is less secure than other ISPs, however, because of the significant number of users, AOL has become a target for hackers.
