Active Security Description
Active Security is a rogue anti-spyware program that uses misleading tactics to extort money from unsuspecting computer users. Active Security falsely claims that it is able to speed up system performance but does just the opposite. Once installed, Active Security can greatly reduce system performance and populate the hard drive with malicious files.Active Security usually tricks computer users into purchasing a full version of Active Security through bogus popup messages and fabricated system scans.
