Posted: September 22, 2008

AntiSpy Deluxe Antivirus, also known as AntiSpyDeluxeAntivirus, is a rogue anti-spyware program that displays a fake icon on your system tray stating that your computer is infected with spyware. AntiSpy Deluxe Antivirus will use fake security messages to urge you to download their software and will prompt you into purchasing the full version of AntiSpy Deluxe Antivirus. AntiSpy Deluxe Antivirus is a clone of AntiSpywareDeluxe.

AntiSpy Deluxe Antivirus may try to download onto your computer through a Trojan (most likely the Zlob Trojan) or under other dubious circumstances. AntiSpy Deluxe Antivirus may also launch on every Windows startup and may display excessive popup ads. AntiSpy Deluxe Antivirus may be difficult to remove manually because it has the ability to recreate itself.
