JS.Clid is a parasitic web trojan, which infects any computer with no proper security installed on it from HTML-files. Once this had happened, JS.Clid changes several computer settings; this result in the loss of user's access to these settings and several other unwanted effects.

JS.Clid Manual Removal Instructions
Backup Reminder: Always be sure to back up your PC before making any changes.To remove JS.Clid, you must first stop any JS.Clid processes that are running in your computer's memory. To stop all JS.Clid processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for JS.Clid, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.
To delete JS.Clid registry keys, open the Windows Registry Editor by clicking on the Windows "Start" button and selecting "Run." Type "regedit" into the box and click "OK." Once the Registry Editor is open, search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\JS.Clid." Right-click this registry key and select "Delete."
Finally, to completely get rid of JS.Clid, you must manually remove other JS.Clid files. These JS.Clid files can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, JS.Clid might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%\JS.Clid\JS.Clid.exe. Locate and remove these files.
