Security Soldier or SecuritySoldier, is a rogue anti-spyware program that uses misleading popup messages and system scans that return erroneous results to make computer users believe that they need to purchase the full Security Soldier application to remove security threats. Security Soldier comes from the same family of rogue security programs such as SystemCop, SecurityFighter, SaveDefender, SaveArmor and SoftSafeness.

I downloaded and installed a program called “TrustedSoldier”, which has adversly affected my friend’s Vista-based computer. Do you have any info on this particular version? After it was uninstalled, it still came up and won’t be gone! I’d appreciate any special instructions you have concerning this version. Thank You — Joe
