SystemBooster 2009, also known as System Booster 2009 or System Booster, is a rogue system optimizer program that installs in your computer with the help of a Trojan found on fake video codecs, rogue websites, or spam email messages.
SystemBooster 2009 is designed to identify and fix system errors, but instead it displays false positives to trick the user into believing there's a malware infection.
If you download SystemBooster 2009, it will start a scan that displays false positives on your computer. Along with this scan, popups and fake system alert messages may appear to "inform" you about your supposed infections. If you click on any of these messages, you'll be redirected to a rogue website to download SystemBooster 2009's licensed version.
