W32/Allaple Description
W32/Allaple is a network worm designed for the Windows platform. Once it is executed, W32/Allaple will search local disks for HTML files and inject code into them to activate the installed copy of it. Some variants of W32/Allaple may spread to other network computers by exploiting common buffer overflow vulnerabilities, including: SRVSVC (MS06-040), RPC-DCOM (MS04-012), PNP (MS05-039) and ASN.1 (MS04-007) and by copying itself to network shares protected by weak passwords.

W32/Allaple Manual Removal Instructions
Backup Reminder: Always be sure to back up your PC before making any changes.To remove W32/Allaple , you must first stop any W32/Allaple processes that are running in your computer's memory. To stop all W32/Allaple processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for W32/Allaple , then right-click it and select "End Process" key.
To delete W32/Allaple registry keys, open the Windows Registry Editor by clicking on the Windows "Start" button and selecting "Run." Type "regedit" into the box and click "OK." Once the Registry Editor is open, search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\W32/Allaple ." Right-click this registry key and select "Delete."
Finally, to completely get rid of W32/Allaple , you must manually remove other W32/Allaple files. These W32/Allaple files can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, W32/Allaple might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%\W32/Allaple \W32/Allaple .exe. Locate and remove these files.
