W32.Sality.AM Description
W32.Sality.AM is a new mischievous malware program from the notorious Sality parasite family. Win32.Sality.AM spreads via annoying emails, chatrooms, news groups and corrupt freeware downloads. Once Win32.Sality.AM is inside the system, it will run in stealth mode and launch malicious files together with annoying popups. Win32.Sality.AM is an aggressive malware program that may download viruses, trojans, worms and steal personal data. Once detected it should be removed immediately.

W32.Sality.AM Manual Removal Instructions
Backup Reminder: Always be sure to back up your PC before making any changes.To remove W32.Sality.AM, you must first stop any W32.Sality.AM processes that are running in your computer's memory. To stop all W32.Sality.AM processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for W32.Sality.AM, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.
To delete W32.Sality.AM registry keys, open the Windows Registry Editor by clicking on the Windows "Start" button and selecting "Run." Type "regedit" into the box and click "OK." Once the Registry Editor is open, search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\W32.Sality.AM." Right-click this registry key and select "Delete."
Finally, to completely get rid of W32.Sality.AM, you must manually remove other W32.Sality.AM files. These W32.Sality.AM files can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, W32.Sality.AM might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%\W32.Sality.AM\W32.Sality.AM.exe. Locate and remove these files.
