W95/Dupator Description
W95/Dupator is a memory-resident, nondestructive virus designed to infect Windows system. W95/Dupator becomes active in memory by infecting the Windows system file kernel32.dll. Once it is executed, W95/Dupator searches for kernel32.dll in the Windows system folder and copies the infected file into the Windows folder. This allows W95/Dupator to load at stat up and stay memory resident.

Backup Reminder: Always be sure to back up your PC before making any changes.To remove W95/Dupator , you must first stop any W95/Dupator processes that are running in your computer's memory. To stop all W95/Dupator processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for W95/Dupator , then right-click it and select "End Process" key.
To delete W95/Dupator registry keys, open the Windows Registry Editor by clicking on the Windows "Start" button and selecting "Run." Type "regedit" into the box and click "OK." Once the Registry Editor is open, search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\W95/Dupator ." Right-click this registry key and select "Delete."
Finally, to completely get rid of W95/Dupator , you must manually remove other W95/Dupator files. These W95/Dupator files can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, W95/Dupator might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%\W95/Dupator \W95/Dupator .exe. Locate and remove these files.
