Posted: December 21, 2007

Win32.Trojan.Agent is the beginning of any Trojan program name that may be displayed in the warning pop-up alerts that are created to threaten and trick you into purchasing a rogue anti-spyware application. Usually, warnings about Win32.Trojan.Agent are generated by a Trojan Zlob program that often comes bundled with fake video codecs or via other illicit mechanisms without your knowledge and permission. Once it is installed, it will display irritating warning messages, pop-ups and alerts stating that you have been infected with Win32.Trojan.Agent. If you click on this message, you will be directed to a website, which promotes various ROGUE anti-spyware applications.
