Worm.Klez Description
Worm.Klez is a mass mailer worm that transmits itself onto other computers as an email attachment. Worm.Klez will send infected emails to any emails that it can locate on your machine. It will add itself as an attachment to these emails. Worm.Klez is also reported to spread through network shares.

To remove Worm.Klez, you must first stop any Worm.Klez processes that are running in your computer's memory. To stop all Worm.Klez processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for Worm.Klez, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.
To delete Worm.Klez registry keys, open the Windows Registry Editor by clicking on the Windows "Start" button and selecting "Run." Type "regedit" into the box and click "OK." Once the Registry Editor is open, search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Worm.Klez." Right-click this registry key and select "Delete."
Finally, to completely get rid of Worm.Klez, you must manually remove other Worm.Klez files. These Worm.Klez files can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, Worm.Klez might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%\Worm.Klez\Worm.Klez.exe. Locate and remove these files.
