Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Buzzsearch Deals is a Potentially Unwanted Program that displays targeted shopping-related advertisements, supposedly to allow you access to reputable time-limited offers. Like other PUPs, Buzzsearch Deals can have negative impacts on your browser's performance, stability or security, and malware researchers consider deleting Buzzsearch Deals a good response in any scenario where you're not completely sure of its benefits. Because Buzzsearch Deals may make changes to your PC that aren't removed during normal uninstallation routines (a typical attribute of adware and other PUPs), using professional anti-adware or anti-malware programs for deleting Buzzsearch Deals also is encouraged for safety's sake.
The Deals that Buzz into Your Life for 'Free'
While advertisements are profitable, there always is the question of how to get people to view them. Buzzsearch Deals, like many other kinds of adware prior to Buzzsearch Deals, has chosen the socially-engineered route of marketing its advertisements as benefits to the user by specializing in online coupons, time-limited offers and other shopping-related advertisements. Based on current analyzes, malware researchers haven't seen any evidence of a significant amount of Buzzsearch Deals's advertisements being fraudulent or threatening. However, they do recommend that you double-check any sources before considering potentially risky actions, such as giving a company behind a Buzzsearch Deals advertisement your personal information like Web surfing activities.
Although Buzzsearch Deals claims its advertisements are to your benefit, Buzzsearch Deals displays its advertisements by injecting them into Web pages. As usual for adware programs, Buzzsearch Deals doesn't offer any advanced controls for determining when or where these advertisements are loaded. As a result, your browser may suffer from slowdowns, crashes or other performance problems, along with the possibility of a Buzzsearch Deals advertisement blocking a website's default content.
Getting Buzzsearch Deals to Buzz Off of Your Browser
Adware programs of any type may run the risk of exposing your PC to potentially unsafe content or, at a minimum, having a negative result on the overall performance of your Web browser. Considering the high cost of 'free' deals, malware researchers habitually suggest the deletion of Buzzsearch Deals and all other adware programs through qualified security products. This especially should be considered whenever Buzzsearch Deals is installed, since it may be an indication of a secondary PC threat such as a Trojan.
Many of the semi-reputable PUPs like Buzzsearch Deals prefer to use software-bundling methods to distribute themselves throughout freeware sites, torrenting networks and other easy-access download sources. In some cases, watching for unusual extras or accessories during installation can help you avoid Buzzsearch Deals and other adware. Along with simply being perceptive, you also may want to invest in good PC security products, since many anti-malware and anti-adware scanners are able to detect these bundles immediately.
