Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Easy Current News Access is an unreliable Web toolbar that may cause various issues to your browsers. The experts classify Easy Current News Access as adware because it may be associated with aggressive commercial materials. Some PC users may install Easy Current News Access from its official page expecting to receive quick access to multiple news sites. In other cases, this adware may evade the attention of the person because Easy Current News Access may be part of a software bundle. The users that skip details or perform the setup process via the 'Quick' menu may not understand in time that there are additional components alongside the main application. Fortunately, using the 'Advanced' menu for the installations of freeware should inform you properly about the bundled elements, so that you will be able to unmark their checkboxes manually. Once the installation is completed, Easy Current News Access may appear in all browsers that you have installed on the PC, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. You may notice a new homepage when you go online. This toolbar may suggest you use some suspicious provider to make you visit its partners. Easy Current News Access may cause significant irritation to the users by inserting intrusive pop-ups, banners, interstitial ads and in-text ads. They may be discount coupons or exclusive offers that may lead to e-commerce platforms with unverified legitimacy. Some pop-ups may be misleading or fraudulent. They may claim you are the lucky visitor to manipulate you to share your email address, which may, in turn, be used for marketing campaigns. Some of the sponsored links may be corrupt, meaning that they may send you to potentially suspicious sites. The adware also may hamper the performance of the browsers, so you should consider removing Easy Current News Access with a trustworthy security application.
