Entrusted Toolbar Screenshot 1Entrusted Toolbar is an unwanted toolbar/ browser hijacker, which is advertised via other free software (video recording/streaming, download-managers or PDF creators) downloads that had packed into their installation Entrusted Toolbar. Once installed on the affected computer, Entrusted Toolbar will add the Entrusted Community Toolbar, replace the default homepage to Search.conduit.com, and set the default search engine to Entrusted Customized Web Search. The Entrusted Customized Web Search will display annoying pop-up advertisements and sponsored links in search results of any legal search engine, and may gather search terms from the victimized PC user's search queries. Entrusted Toolbar is used by cybercriminals to increase traffic of the certain website by using blackhat SEO and make money from click fraud. Entrusted Toolbar is also packaged within the custom installer on many download websites such as CNET, Brothersoft or Softonic, so if the PC user has downloaded a certain program from these websites, he/she might also installed Entrusted Toolbar during the program setup process.
