Exploit:Win32/Pdfjsc.AKZ is a Trojan that enables cybercriminals to obtain remote unauthorized access and control over an infected computer. Exploit:Win32/Pdfjsc.AKZ propagates via spam emails, freeware and malicious links on unreliable third-party websites. Exploit:Win32/Pdfjsc.AKZ can also be distributed to vulnerable computers as a malicious .PDF file exploiting known vulnerabilities in Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader. Once installed on a computer system, Exploit:Win32/Pdfjsc.AKZ creates hidden folders in crucial sections such as the Windows Registry, so that it can hide its malicious files and prevent itself from being completely removed from the PC. Exploit:Win32/Pdfjsc.AKZ runs malicious processes to make the PC run slowly and damages program files to stop applications from functioning. Exploit:Win32/Pdfjsc.AKZ can also download and install additional security threats onto the computer.
