Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

FLV Blaster is not the right application that you should use in case you need assistance for your downloads. This product is classified as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) because the user's feedback tends to be very negative. It is true that FLV Blaster may offer you some help if you want to download music and videos from some popular platforms. In some situations, however, your attempts to download videos from YouTube or Metacafe may end up with errors. The reason the clients are not satisfied with FLV Blaster doesn't concern its primary function as much as its side effects. This PUP may cause unrequested modifications of all available browsers, including Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. The first alteration you may notice is that your default homepage may be replaced automatically. FLV Blaster may place some low-quality search engine in its place that may try to redirect you to partner sites. Exactly for the same reason, this PUP may insert many pop-ups, banners and interstitial ads. It may not take too long before you start getting annoyed by the commercial materials since they may become a consistent part of your surfing sessions. The ads may display discounts and promotions on products that you need because FLV Blaster may track your browsing history to tune them to your taste. Nevertheless, it isn't recommended to follow them because you may end up in some compromised pages. This PUP may be hard to remove because it may spread its files across the system and create some registry subkeys. You may try to delete the folders "<$COMMONPROGRAMS>\FLV Blaster" and "<$PROGRAMFILES>\FLV Blaster", but the Windows registries are a sensitive area, and it is not advisable to modify them unless you are an expert. To delete FLV Blaster easily, you should rely on reliable security software.
