Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

LifeStyle by InMind is a small web extension that promises to keep you informed about the latest lifestyle events. However, rarely do the clients appreciate this plugin because it functions as traditional adware. LifeStyle may change the vision of the new tab screen thoroughly. Just after opening a new tab, you may notice that it doesn't contain a legitimate search field and a list of your favorite sites anymore. In their place, you may find numerous sponsored links. There may also be an Ask-based search box that may try to increase traffic towards third-party affiliate pages. LifeStyle is known to generate ads that you may face on most of the pages you visit. The new commercial materials may take various forms. Some eye-catching pop-ups and banners may distract you, targeted videos may launch automatically, and page-covering interstitial ads may annoy you. You may also find in-text ads, which are ordinary words turned into hyperlinks. You can distinguish them from the rest of the text because the in-text ads are double-underlined. All in all, the ads by LifeStyle may irritate you and harm the performance of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. Even if some of the displayed coupons and offers refer to products that you need, you should be careful. The ads by such extensions may not be safe. On some cases, they may lead towards questionable or fraudulent sites. Although this tool can be found in the Chrome Web Store, it is safe to assume that hardly anyone will download such adware voluntarily. It may travel in software bundles, which is the reason some users may install it without knowing. The security specialists recommend using a reliable anti-malware tool to get rid of LifeStyle.
