The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:

Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.

MetroCleaner is an adware application that may be installed on your computer without your knowledge. The MetroCleaner adware may often rely on installs through software bundles, so many users might accidentally end up agreeing to install the MetroCleaner software. The adware may be distributed alongside the installation packages of free apps such as PDF readers, media players, codec packs, and media converters. Once the MetroCleaner web browser extension is installed, the user may experience a sudden change in the way their web browser behaves. Because of MetroCleaner's presence, the web browser may display ads on all websites that the user browses. The ads may be labeled 'MetroCleaner Ads', so sometimes it may be easy to recognize the source of the problem. If the MetroCleaner ads are in your web browser, then this is cue that it's time to clean up your computer from malware.
The MetroCleaner adware isn't dangerous, but removing it manually may not be the best idea since there's no way to be sure that all of the threat's files have been eliminated. That's why we recommend using a powerful anti-malware tool that can ensure a full clean-up, and the assurance that MetroCleaner ads won't bother you anytime soon.
