Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

MultiSurveys is an ad-supported Web extension that should let you take part in paid surveys. Before authorizing its installation, you need to keep in mind that the majority of PC users are not happy with its performance. This questionable add-on may fill all of your Web clients with many new commercial materials. As you surf the Web and visit your favorite sites, you may notice many new pop-ups, banners, interstitial ads or in-text ads. Some of them may be labeled adequately as 'Powered by MultiSurveys', but others may seem to originate from the currently viewed site. The adware may replace traditional ads with its own coupons and discounts. It is not advisable by any means to click on the sponsored links because you can never be sure where they will take you. Sometimes the seemingly good offers may lead to sites that offer highly suspicious or threatening software, cleverly disguised as Java or Adobe updates. Some of the surveys that you see also may be unreliable. They may use various approaches to make you share your email address. For example, the questionnaires may claim that you will receive your discount codes there, but instead, your inbox may get spammed. The mere presence of the commercial materials in your browsers may have unfavorable consequences for your surfing experience. A significant part of the ads may contain some multimedia elements that may consume a lot of resources, especially the embedded videos and animations. The loading of these ads may lead to highly annoying freezes or speed drops of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. It is not always easy to prevent the installation of MultiSurveys. Sometimes this application may come hidden in software bundles so you may notice it only after it compromises the Web clients. The most efficient way to eliminate the adware without missing any of its files is to use a dedicated security program.
