Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

The MySavings Toolbar is a Conduit add-on that claims to offer you easy deals for finding the best prices online, although a close inspection of its offers may lead to you concluding that the MySavings Toolbar's marketing promises more than the toolbar can deliver. The MySavings Toolbar's website has been connected to phishing attacks that use your personal information for distributing spam, and recommend avoiding both this site and the MySavings Toolbar whenever possible. The MySavings Toolbar currently is categorized as adware, and like other adware-based add-ons, can be removed most easily with strong anti-malware software.
Saving Pennies in Ways that Cost Your PC Pounds
The MySavings Toolbar just is one of the many members of the Conduit's large and ever-growing family of toolbars. The majority of these toolbars provide search redirects to Conduit.com, but also have other functions, as in the case of the MySavings Toolbar and its shopping coupons. Some of the other brands that have been tied to this family include the MakeMeBabies Toolbar, the Trustworthy Toolbar, the Messenger Plus Toolbar, the shARES Toolbar, the Top 10 Toolbar and the Goofler Toolbar.
Although the MySavings Toolbar does provide links to shopping deals, the MySavings Toolbar also often requests your login information for Facebook and other social networking websites before you can access these deals – a fact that's not mentioned on its website. These phishing efforts and others like them allow the MySavings Toolbar to share your contact information with third parties, who, at this time, appear to be taking advantage of the situation by sending spam advertisements to the affected accounts. Since these third parties are separate from the company responsible for the MySavings Toolbar, even uninstalling this toolbar will not stop the spam, which causes a temporary lapse in judgment to turn into a permanent security problem.
Saving Yourself from Being Passed Around to the MySavings Toolbar's 'Business Partners'
As is typical for Conduit add-ons, the MySavings Toolbar relies on a disingenuous marketing strategy that inflates its own value to you while being careful not to mention the drawbacks that the MySavings Toolbar has to your browser performance, not to mention to your privacy. SpywareRemove.com malware experts always strongly recommend researching toolbars like the MySavings Toolbar before trusting them enough to install them, and anti-malware tools can be used to delete the MySavings Toolbar if it's too late simply to avoid the MySavings Toolbar entirely.
Unfortunately, the relative ease of removing a MySavings Toolbar with the proper tools doesn't carry over to retaining personal information that's compromised through the MySavings Toolbar or its 'coupon' website. Always be cautious about sites that request information that should remain private, such as your e-mail address, your account passwords or even your Social Security Number. Unless you have a good reason to believe that these sites are trustworthy, keeping your personal information to yourself typically is the right course of action.
