NetMon is yet another PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) that has adware capabilities and known to be found in pay-per-install bundles. Adware creators have developed the NetMon application in order to track users' browsing activities, history, bookmarks, etc. Users may find NetMon bundled with other PUPs like OnePlayer and Browse Pax, for example. NetMon is the kind of adware-laced app that may install additional web browser extensions to your browser and thus present several unwanted online ads. In many cases, users have unintentionally downloaded NetMon by clicking on a misleading advertisement or via similar products. Users are advised not to click on ads generated by NetMon as they may also be unreliable and cause unwanted redirects to potentially harmful web locations.
