Palikan

Palikan is a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that is known to be bundled with other free programs in order to get more widely-spread. Users may accidentally download and install it due to lack of attention when installing other freeware. In the majority of cases, unwanted applications such as Palikan might be bundled with PDF creators, media players or codecs. Palikan also installs the 'Palikan Search' that is a low-level search engine. Low-level search engines are known to provide manipulated web searches and record all the aspects of your online behavior. What is more, the Palikan app may alter your default homepage and search engine. Palikan Search may also cause redirects to potentially harmful web locations.
