Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

RoboSavEr is a 'shopping assistant' style of adware program that modifies your browser's Web pages to show new advertising content, which typically is unwanted and unhelpful to the PC user. According to the analyses of malware experts, recent unwanted installations of RoboSavEr have begun to appear as of early 2014, with RoboSavEr often being installed along with multiple other Potentially Unwanted Programs. Uninstalling RoboSavEr and all other PUPs effectively should be done through general anti-malware strategies, which will provide a thorough disinfection of your PC that will see your browser fully reverted to its default state.
RoboSavEr: Robotizing Your Browser a Step in the Wrong Direction
It's relatively easy to make money through online advertisements, but less easy to convince random computer owners to view your advertising content. RoboSavEr, along with many similar adware programs, have chosen the solution of displaying advertisements that are claimed to be for the user's benefit, with product price comparisons, special offers and other e-shopping links. The actual benefits of RoboSavEr's advertisements are sufficiently questionable that malware researchers have failed to notice any deliberate users of RoboSavEr software – as opposed to victims who are subjected to its advertisements.
That last occurrence appears to be through general adware-bundling installers that have taken to distributing multiple forms of browser-based PUPs along with RoboSavEr. Other adware that malware researchers have seen installed with RoboSavEr include Fun2Saavve, Safercoupon advertisements, Safe Saver and AlLSaver. In a sharp contrast to many other bundlers, which may request permission to install their browser add-ons, installers for RoboSavEr and its cohorts may install these PUPs automatically.
Being Your Browser's Savior from a Front Seat with RoboSavEr
RoboSavEr is installed as a Browser Helper Object (or BHO) that's specific to the Chrome Web browser. On the other hand, all of the other adware that often is installed with RoboSavEr is unlikely to be unable to modify other browsers, such as Safari or Internet Explorer. Malware experts also would emphasize that, regardless of whether or not you use a browser that's affected by RoboSavEr advertisements, adware is a general performance and security issue that often is damaging to leave on your PC for prolonged periods of time.
Even in the best of circumstances, adware may try to stop its own complete deletion. RoboSavEr has earned the especial ire of malware researchers for complicating its installation by using the same installers as a half dozen (or, possibly, more than that) other adware products. Disabling as many of these unwanted programs as possible is recommended, which can assist your anti-malware software with removing RoboSavEr and its kin with no advertisement-generating traces forgotten.
