Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

SoundJunkies by APN, LLC is an adware extension that may cause unpleasant changes in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. The company that created this questionable plugin promotes it as an irreplaceable tool for the music fans. In theory, SoundJunkies should provide access to millions of songs and numerous radio stations from around the world for free. In reality, this adware creates a toolbar that contains buttons that in turn lead to music-oriented sites. Some of the promoted pages may be untrustworthy. Even if they are safe, you would not need the help of SoundJunkies to reach them. This adware also promises to make the searching for information a more convenient and easy process. This feature is deceitful because all SoundJunkies does is replace the default search engine with some questionable search platform that may redirect you to affiliate sites. If you read the 'Terms and Conditions' of this web extension, you may notice that it creates some user-relevant ads. According to APN, these new commercial materials are there to keep the license of SoundJunkies free. However, just as most types of adware, the specialists have reasons to believe that the presence of ads is among the primary reasons for the creation of this tool. You may face ads in the form of pop-ups, banners, interstitial ads and eye-catching animations. They tend to be rather persistent, which may cause you some annoyance. If you find some of the ads to be interesting, you should proceed with caution because they may be unsafe. If you are unable to delete the adware manually, which would not be a surprise, you should use special security software.
