Stack Player is an unreliable media player that the experts classify as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). There are various negative aspects that should make you think twice before permitting the installation of this application. First, Stack Player may not perform as promised. You may experience a lot of bugs, errors or other glitches. Second, Stack Player is supported by rather intrusive Web commercials, which may make your surfing sessions less enjoyable. Unfortunately, it is not often easy to prevent the loading of this PUP. Its official page is responsible for a minor part of its installations. The developers of Stack Player more often may spread it bundled with third-party software. This approach is called 'bundling,' and it may be pretty efficient if the PC user doesn't read the details during the setup process. However, if you take your time and perform the installation via the 'Advanced' (or 'Custom') menu, then you should be able to opt-out of loading suggested components like this PUP. The creators of Stack Player say that it will make your video-watching experience more enjoyable because you will not need to use your browser. This feature may not be of any help to you – in both cases, you will have to launch a certain program to see the videos. It doesn't matter if you do it via the Web client or some questionable third-party solution like Stack Player. A lot of users complain that the generated commercial materials by Stack Player may be too intrusive. It cannot be otherwise when you take in mind that the unreliable media player may show new pop-ups, banners and in-text ads on almost every site. Moreover, Stack Player may affect Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer simultaneously, so you cannot simply switch to another Web client to stop them. The multimedia elements in some ads may lead to a noticeable drop in the performance of the browsers. When you add that some of the partner pages may be unsafe, the most reasonable solution is to delete Stack Player with a credible security utility.
