Systemauthenticator.com

Posted: February 7, 2014

Systemauthenticator.com is an unreliable website which may display an unwanted pop-up message on the desktop of the computer system when the PC users browses the Web, if he has downloaded a potentially unwanted program or adware. The fake warning message was designed to possibly market worthless remote support services and to make money from trusting computer users. The bogus alert states that the computer has several PC threats and the computer user's personal and financial information may not be secured. To remove security threats, the fraudulent Systemauthenticator.com pop-up notification suggests calling the number given. It is a deceitful message and if the PC user calls, it may charge him $199 for this remote support service. Nothing the alert states is associated with the real situation of the computer's security and it may only be shown because the PC user has probably unknowingly installed adware or a potentially unwanted program without his knowledge.
