Trojan.Zekos, also known as Trojan.Patched.Zekos, is a Trojan that can play audio ads in the system background without a PC user's consent. Trojan.Zekos can enter the PC surreptitiously without asking the computer user's authorization. Trojan.Zekos allows attackers to gain full remote access and control of the targeted computer system. Upon installation, Trojan.Zekos can make changes on the PC by dropping malicious files or modifying the Windows Registry. Trojan.Zekos can connect to a command and control server to receive instructions for further actions on the corrupted PC. Trojan.Zekos can also monitor the computer user's Internet surfing habits and gather surfing and personal information for malicious purposes.
