TR/Sirefef.AG.35 is a Sirefef Trojan that is related to rogue anti-spyware applications. TR/Sirefef.AG.35 might be used to distribute fake security applications. TR/Sirefef.AG.35 delivers and shows annoying pop-up ads on the corrupted machine. TR/Sirefef.AG.35 collects information about the affected PC user’s online activities by retrieving logs on the system. The collected information is sent to a remote server controlled by the attacker, which automatically decides what type of data would match the PC user’s profile as established on the data given by the spying component of TR/Sirefef.AG.35.
