Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Windows Smart Partner is a rogue anti-malware and security program that displays irrelevant and inaccurate alerts about Trojans, keyloggers and other PC threats being on your computer when Windows Smart Partner doesn't have any ability to find or remove any sort of malicious software. Pop-up alerts and even Windows Smart Partner's automated system scans don't have any purpose except to tempt you into buying the full version of Windows Smart Partner, which SpywareRemove.com malware researchers discourage as a needless expenditure of your cash. Since Windows Smart Partner belongs to a family of fake anti-malware applications that may also attack unrelated programs and prevent them from running, you should treat Windows Smart Partner as a potentially serious threat to the safety of your PC and remove Windows Smart Partner with a preferred anti-malware scanner whenever you can do so.
Windows Smart Partner: A Semi-Intelligent Solution to Your Computer's Real Security
Windows Smart Partner is a Windows-based fake anti-malware program that launches itself automatically for the purpose of displaying simulations of system scans and error messages. Although Windows Smart Partner may pretend to offer anti-phishing technology and other security measures, all of these features are fake, and Windows Smart Partner's only working functions involve displaying inaccurate information that should be ignored. SpywareRemove.com malware experts have supplied the following examples of some of the fake warnings that Windows Smart Partner may show apropos of nothing, although this list may not be definitive:

Name: [ASpplication file name]

Application that seems to be a key-logger is detected. System information security is at risk. It is recommended to enable the security mode and run total System scanning.
Since Windows Smart Partner would prefer that you didn't uninstall Windows Smart Partner until you've paid out money for its fraudulent software, Windows Smart Partner may also use other attacks that circumvent your computer's security software deliberately, to deprive you of access to PC security information or to make it appear as though unrelated applications have been damaged by nonexistent PC threats. To this end, Windows Smart Partner may constantly scan your PC for active memory processes to be shut down – this broad list of target programs can include instant messenger clients, e-mail clients, JavaScript, Flash, general Adobe products like Photoshop, webcam utilities, web browsers and built-in Windows utilities like the Registry Editor.
Unshackling Yourself from Windows Smart Partner's Unsound Partnership
Windows Smart Partner should be removed by legitimate anti-malware products that can detect and delete both Windows Smart Partner and any other PC threats that may have assisted with its installation or been installed with Windows Smart Partner. Although launching your anti-malware software under normal conditions may cause its scans to be circumvented, in most cases, booting into Safe Mode or making use of other techniques to disable Windows Smart Partner's startup routine should let you remove Windows Smart Partner without any further incidents.
Clones of Windows Smart Partner from the same family, even if they use a branch with different aesthetics, should be treated as just as harmful as Windows Smart Partner. Other members of the FakeVimes subgroup of scamware products include Privacy Guard Pro, PrivacyGuard Pro 2.0, Extra Antivirus, Fast Antivirus 2009, Presto TuneUp, Windows Security Suite, Smart Virus Eliminator, Packed.Generic.245, Volcano Security Suite, Windows Enterprise Suite, Enterprise Suite, Additional Guard, Live PC Care, PC Live Guard, Live Enterprise Suite, Security Antivirus, My Security Wall, CleanUp Antivirus and Smart Security.
