MultyCodecUpgr.7.exe Description

MultyCodecUpgr.7.exe is a phony codec that carries a concealed Trojan. An internet video will appear and you are informed that you must install a codec to view the video clip. By installing the fake codec, you've allowed a Trojan to infect your PC. The phony codec is associated with System Antivirus 2008. Once infected by the fake MultyCodecUpgr.7.exe codec the Trojan begins to create its own directory, drop its own poisonous files files without your knowledge. Your computer will be inundated with pop-up ads claiming that your PC is infected with "Blasser.Sasser" as well as false scan summaries stating that you need to buy the frivolous scam System Antivirus 2008 program. Do NOT purchase this software.
