Soft Cop

Soft Cop Description

ScreenshotSoftCop is a fake anti-spyware program with tricky nature. It provides fake reports of threats on a user's computer. SoftCop does not warn a user of its aims to install on user's PC; it only installs all by itself ignoring and in spite of the authorization needs. That's because SoftCop is aided by infections such as a backdoor trojan which stays unidentified even after an executed attack. Those trojans gives the pathway for SoftCop unregistered copy that is trialware to enter inside and alter system parameters to make the computer hijacked and unable to accomplish some user's commands.
After invasion, SoftCop does not remain latent and begins to trigger its intricate adware at once that says a user about a big number of infections he allegedly got on the machine and need to eliminate. Soft Cop uses its false alerts and fabricated system scanners to persuade a user to think his computer needs SoftCop licensed software to cope with the 'displayed' parasites. It's not rational at all to trust SoftCop ads and follow its suggestions. What SoftCop needs from a user, is to get a payment. Thus, users are strongly recommended to remove this particular fake anti-spyware program immediately if they notice its activity on their machine.
While running, Soft Cop would also show a big number of bogus security warnings and reports about serious security and privacy issues. The particular bogus security announcement reads:

"Spyware Alert!
Your computer is infected with spyware. It could damage your critical files or expose your private data on the Internet. Click here to register your copy of SoftCop and remove spyware threats from your PC."
