24Search

The 24Search extension is offered by Aztec Media LTD, and it appears to provide users with the ability to search for sports-related news, fixtures and events. However, what users of the 24Search may not be aware of is that they cannot install this add-on without authorizing it to replace their Web browser’s default search engine with Blpsearch.com. While this adjustment is not considered to be a major problem, it may prevent the user from searching the Web reliably, mix up their search results with advertisements and sponsored content.

The usage of the 24Search is not recommended since this tool is classified as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) and many PC security products will try to remove it. While the removal of the 24Search add-on is not mandatory, it is certainly the recommended course of action since it does not provide you with any irreplaceable features and, in addition to this, it may annoy you by meddling with your Web browser’s configuration.

If you have the 24Search added to Google Chrome and would like to remove it, then you can achieve this either with the use of a PC security product or by manually completing its removal via Chrome’s add-on manager.
