’888-391-6168′ Scam Message
In case your computer has been infected with adware, or you unintentionally have installed a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program), you may see different pop-up windows or fake alert messages warning that you need assistance. In such cases, your computer has indeed been infected, but calling the toll-free high priority support line is not going to be much of use. By calling 888-391-6188, users might be tricked into paying money to experts that are supposed to fix their computers, but in reality, there is nothing to fix. Computer security experts advise not to fall for such fake alerts and not to contact the support hotline.
