Originated in March 2002, in Saudi Arabia. It was crated using Visual Basic applicationming language. The author is jaas. The interesting thing about this RAT is, that the interface is written in Arabian! However, we shouldn't underestimate the damage, that could be done by this application. - In the "All or part of the the file name" section, type in "Al-Bareki" file name(s).
- To get better results, select "Look in: Local Hard Drives" or "Look in: My Computer" and then click "Search" button.
- When Windows finishes your search, hover over the "In Folder" of "Al-Bareki", highlight the file and copy/paste the path into the address bar. To remove Al-Bareki, you must first stop any Al-Bareki processes that are running in your computer’s memory. To stop all Al-Bareki processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for Al-Bareki, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.

Once the Registry Editor is open, search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Al-Bareki." Right-click this registry key and select "Delete."
Finally, to completely get rid of Al-Bareki, you must manually remove other Al-Bareki files. These Al-Bareki files can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, Al-Bareki might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%\Al-Bareki\Al-Bareki.exe. Locate and remove these files.
