Gaghiel Description
Gaghiel is an Internet worm that spreads by e-mail and through IRC channels. It installs itself to the computer, modifies Internet Explorer settings and infects files of several web types . It overwrites files written in Visual Basic Script applicationming language with its copies and may show some messages. For spreading by e-mail the worm uses Microsoft Outlook mail application. It sends infected messages to all recipients in the Address Book.

Gaghiel Manual Removal Instructions
Backup Reminder: Always be sure to back up your PC before making any changes.To remove Gaghiel, you must first stop any Gaghiel processes that are running in your computer's memory. To stop all Gaghiel processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for Gaghiel, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.
To delete Gaghiel registry keys, open the Windows Registry Editor by clicking on the Windows "Start" button and selecting "Run." Type "regedit" into the box and click "OK." Once the Registry Editor is open, search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Gaghiel." Right-click this registry key and select "Delete."
Finally, to completely get rid of Gaghiel, you must manually remove other Gaghiel files. These Gaghiel files can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, Gaghiel might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%\Gaghiel\Gaghiel.exe. Locate and remove these files.
