I-Worm.Neysid

Worm Neysid uses several ways to spread. It sends itself to all e-mail addresses found in a computer, causing a huge overload of local mail servers. It infects mIRC chat client and uses it to distribute itself in IRC channels. It also places infected files to shared directories, used by KaZaA file-sharing software. The worm creates lots of infected files in computer directories and places shortcuts to them on the desktop. It can infect some Microsoft Office documents and other files. It is very difficult to fully cure an infected PC: because there are lots of infected files there is a possibility, that a PC will be infected one more time.
