QQ Cat Description
This is a Remote Administration Tool that is used by hackers to control the victim's machine remotely. The possibilities of such application depend on the needs of the attacker. The attacker infects the PC via the e-mail or File and Print Sharing. A "server" allows him to connect via a "client" on his own machine. The functions of a RAT may vary, depending on the needs of the hacker. Some RATs can't really harm your PC and the only purpose they were made for is hooliganism. But some versions can steal vital information, remove files and even crash your computer. Several versions of this pest originated in November 2000. The applicationming language is Visual Basic. The RAT was created by a Chinese hacker called BigCat.

Backup Reminder: Always be sure to back up your PC before making any changes.To remove QQ Cat, you must first stop any QQ Cat processes that are running in your computer's memory. To stop all QQ Cat processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for QQ Cat, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.
To delete QQ Cat registry keys, open the Windows Registry Editor by clicking on the Windows "Start" button and selecting "Run." Type "regedit" into the box and click "OK." Once the Registry Editor is open, search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\QQ Cat." Right-click this registry key and select "Delete."
Finally, to completely get rid of QQ Cat, you must manually remove other QQ Cat files. These QQ Cat files can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, QQ Cat might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%\QQ Cat\QQ Cat.exe. Locate and remove these files.
