Ramtha 1.1 Description
A Remote Administration Tool is a special kind of hacker malware, used for remote access and control of other people's PCs. The attacker infects the PC via the e-mail or File and Print Sharing. A "server" allows him to connect via a "client" on his own machine. The functions of a RAT may vary, depending on the needs of the hacker. Some RATs can't really harm your PC and the only purpose they were made for is hooliganism. But some versions can steal vital information, remove files and even crash your computer. The author is a hacker called Jordan Hackers Club. The RAT was written in Visual Basic applicationming language. It originated in January 2003.

Ramtha 1.1 Manual Removal Instructions
Backup Reminder: Always be sure to back up your PC before making any changes.To remove Ramtha 1.1, you must first stop any Ramtha 1.1 processes that are running in your computer's memory. To stop all Ramtha 1.1 processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for Ramtha 1.1, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.
To delete Ramtha 1.1 registry keys, open the Windows Registry Editor by clicking on the Windows "Start" button and selecting "Run." Type "regedit" into the box and click "OK." Once the Registry Editor is open, search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Ramtha 1.1." Right-click this registry key and select "Delete."
Finally, to completely get rid of Ramtha 1.1, you must manually remove other Ramtha 1.1 files. These Ramtha 1.1 files can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, Ramtha 1.1 might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%\Ramtha 1.1\Ramtha 1.1.exe. Locate and remove these files.
