San Description
This is an Internet worm, which spreads by e-mail in infected messages. It is written in Visual Basic Script language and installs itself to the computer immediately after a user opens a message for reading. Then the worm sends its copies to addresses found in a computer and changes the default start page of Internet Explorer web browser. It also can download and install another virus from the Internet.

San Manual Removal Instructions
Backup Reminder: Always be sure to back up your PC before making any changes.To remove San, you must first stop any San processes that are running in your computer's memory. To stop all San processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for San, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.
To delete San registry keys, open the Windows Registry Editor by clicking on the Windows "Start" button and selecting "Run." Type "regedit" into the box and click "OK." Once the Registry Editor is open, search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\San." Right-click this registry key and select "Delete."
Finally, to completely get rid of San, you must manually remove other San files. These San files can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, San might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%\San\San.exe. Locate and remove these files.
