The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:

Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

If you start detecting annoying commercial materials in your browsers with the slogan 'Ads by Birds', it means that your Web clients are affected by adware. This questionable extension may cause a variety of problems with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. Birds may not be an application that offers any helpful features. It has been developed only to redirect you to sponsored domains, thus generating commissions for its developers. It wouldn't be surprising if you cannot recall downloading this software on purpose. It may enter as a suggested additional program of some cost-free applications silently. Unless you perform the setup procedure via the 'Custom' menu, you may not understand in time that there are any supplementary elements. Birds may cause modifications to all present Web clients, which you may not appreciate. The adware may replace the homepage with some shady search provider. You should never trust such sites because they may display highly manipulated results to trick you into visiting partner pages. For the same purpose, this extension may fill the sites you view with pop-ups, banners, sponsored videos, blinking animations or in-text ads. These marketing elements may become annoying really quickly because they may appear everywhere. Sometimes the aggressive ads may even be situated above page buttons, thus making it impossible for you to browse the site without clicking on them. In some cases, the users may follow the coupons and vouchers by Birds intentionally. The adware has access to your surfing and searching histories, which may allow it to adjust the displayed content to match your taste. However, you should be extremely careful with the affiliated platforms as some of them may be potentially threatening or fraudulent. The constant generating of ads may slow down the operating speed of your browsers significantly. The Birds extension may be stubborn, so the experts encourage you to delete it with a dedicated security utility.
