Backdoor.DTr
This RAT application is a dangerous hacker tool, used for illegal remote controlling of victim's PC. The infection is usually the same as with a trojan virus – it is performed via e-mail. The virus hides a "server" application in the victim's PC and the attacker can connect via a "client" on his machine.This RAT opens a default port 10001 and awaits hacker commands. The computers affected by this pest are: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Me. However, Windows 3.x, Macintosh, OS/2, UNIX, Linux can not be infected with Backdoor.DTr.
Several variants appeared from January 2001 to July 2004. Warning: this virus can log all keystrokes in to a log file and send it to the intruder. Vital data can be lost or exposed to hacker. The author is Danil.
