'Banco Montepio' Email Scam

Banco Montepio is a Portuguese bank whose customers are being targeted by a new email spam campaign. The bogus messages are designed to look like legitimate correspondence from the financial institution, and they claim to contain an important notification/update that the recipient must review immediately. The bogus messages are branded with Banco Montepio's logos, and the con artists behind them are copying the layout of legitimate 'Banco Montepio' messages. The emails contain a link, which asks the user to confirm their identity by entering their login credentials. However, the website hosting the login prompt is fake, and entering your username and password there, will provide the con artist with your login details.
