Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

ChooseCoupon is a typical adware tool, used to promote sponsored pages. This unreliable software comes to your ChooseCoupon is a Chrome extension that may deliver advertisements from third parties while you browse the Web. While this function isn't intentionally threatening to your computer, it does have the potential of loading hazardous or misleading content. If your browser shows symptoms of loading ChooseCoupon automatically, using anti-adware products for deleting ChooseCoupon is both the safest and most efficient response possible.
The Coupons that Choose You
In spite of the ubiquity of Google's Web services and the popularity of its browser, the Google Corporation has been seemingly unable to reduce the influx of adware add-ons designed for Chrome. ChooseCoupon is one of many, modern examples of an adware program that specializes in delivering advertisements via the Chrome browser, despite its lack of including any visible extension entry. PC users may identify ChooseCoupon's presence from noticing its memory process, or, most typically, from seeing its advertisements.
ChooseCoupon doesn't promote itself as an application on the Chrome Web Store and shows no signs of indulging in a standard software marketing campaign. Malware experts have associated most ChooseCoupon installations with non-consensual install strategies, such as bundling with unrelated, third-party products.
ChooseCoupon loads its advertisements as graphical elements overlaid on top of your normal Web content. Some, but not necessarily all ChooseCoupon advertisements may filter themselves for relevance to keywords in which Web pages are being browsed, such as showing advertisements for products similar to those on popular websites. Unlike with most adware, malware analysts have seen ChooseCoupon offering an interface for closing its advertisements. However, this interface lacks global settings that would let you do anything more than disable ChooseCoupon advertisements on each page where they appear.
ChooseCoupon advertisements may include identifying tags notifying the PC user of their origins. Malware analysts have seen similarities in format between ChooseCoupon advertisements and other adware programs' symptoms, such as those by Browsebit or Fassurun. However, they can't verify any definitive relationship between ChooseCoupon and previous adware, to date.
Choosing to Opt out of ChooseCoupon Advertisements
Other than impacting the Chrome's performance in negative ways, such as lengthening the loading times of your Web pages, ChooseCoupon is an unlikely source of significant problems for any PC. However, even non-threatening adware programs do include some risk of loading threatening content, such as phishing attacks. Malware analysts also often observe advertising platforms like ChooseCoupon showing poor security controls for update management, which may lead to later security issues outside of this article's direct scope. To be safe, you should consider uninstalling ChooseCoupon unless you have specific justifications for tolerating its advertisements.
Standard anti-adware utilities should be able to delete ChooseCoupon while scanning your PC. Other precautions, such as closing your browser during scans, updating all relevant software and using Safe Mode, also can help make ChooseCoupon's removal from your PC as complete as is practical. While the savings of online coupons may tempt any Web shopper, you should avoid taking savings from products like ChooseCoupon, that have revenue models completely divorced from quality customer service.
