Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

DigiSmirkz is a piece of software distributed by the Mindspark Interactive Network, a company that is associated with a large number of Web browser extensions that provide users with access to various utilities and extra features that might be useful in certain situations. The purpose of DigiSmirkz is to provide users wth a neat way to spice up their online chats, e-mail messages, and other methods of text communication by allowing them to insert hundreds of emojis with the click of a single button. While this may seem useful, the DigiSmirkz extension is also associated with another thing that some users might find to be rather unenjoyable – it modifies the Web browser's default new tab page to hp.myway.com/digismirkz/ttab02/index.html, a website that is part of the MyWay.com series of search engines.
Having hp.myway.com/digismirkz/ttab02/index.html as your new tab page is not an issue at all since the website is legitimate, and it is not used to host any unreliable or harmful content. The search feature works as expected, and provides legitimate search results that may, however, be mixed up with some sponsored results or advertisements. Regardless of this, users who have hp.myway.com/digismirkz/ttab02/index.html set as their new tab page should not experience any major issues.
Regardless of the 'Safe' status of the hp.myway.com/digismirkz/ttab02/index.html page, DigiSmirkz is still an application that may make changes that would annoy some users. In addition to this, many reputable cyber security product vendors classify DigiSmirkz and other Mindspark products as Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs). This type of software is not threatening, but as the name suggests, not all users might be happy with having DigiSmirkz or similar applications running on their computers. If you want to remove the DigiSmirkz software from your computer, then you can attempt to complete this operation manually by using your Web browser's extension manager. If manual removal does not work enough, then a good cyber security application should be able to deal with the PUP.
