FullTab New Tab is a dubious browser extension that malware researchers identify as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). The installation of FullTab New Tab does bring some new features to the user's Web browser, such as an integrated to-do list, as well as the ability to change the default background of the browser's homepage. However, the latter is only possible if the user opts to use Fulltabsearch.com, the homepage that the FullTab New Tab is programmed to promote. By agreeing to install the FullTab New Tab software, users also authorize it to change their new tab page and homepage to Fulltabsearch.com. While this action is certainly not threatening, it is unwanted, to say the least since it may cripple the user's ability to navigate the Web efficiently. The Fulltabsearch.com page that this extension promotes does not rely on any of the reputable search algorithms and, instead, uses a unique search algorithm to deliver results to its visitors. Often, these results may be topped by sponsored links or 3rd-party ads that might not always be relevant to the user's search.

The FullTab New Tab browser extension may be promoted via low-quality pages such as Alldownloads.motioned.xyz and Alldownloads.annulate.xyz. Both of these pages may appear in your Web browser when you visit a low-quality website, or if you have aggressive adware on your computer. Regardless of the reason why they may show, it goes without saying that you should never agree to the installation of extensions that you randomly came across while browsing anything different from the official browser extension repository of Chrome, Firefox or Opera.

If you don't wish to continue using FullTab New Tab's services, then there are two ways to remove this application from your PC. The old school method involves manual uninstallation, which may be completed either from your Web browser's settings or the Windows Control panel. The simpler and more efficient method to deal with PUPs is to run a suitable anti-malware tool since software of this sort also may be able to remove less threatening applications such as PUPs, adware and browser hijackers.
