Gim.mapopti.net is a suspicious website that may show a fake pop-up notification 'No Java detected/Whoops! Looks like you need to get the free Java download' on a computer system while computer users are browsing the Web. The fraudulent pop-up notification on Gim.mapopti.net may be shown by adware that may propagate and access the computer system while PC users are downloading free applications from unreliable download websites. The tricky pop-up warning message delivered by PC threats such as adware browser hijackers pertaining to Gim.mapopti.net may claim that the computer user needs to get the free Java download. The alert of Gim.mapopti.net may also show instructions to the computer user on why is it important to download and upgrade to the latest version of Java.
