K2PS Trojan was designed to capture your dial-up network password information and send it to an email account in Japan. K2PS spreads itself as an email attachment scam: you receive an email that a new virus TX-500 has been discovered, and attached is anti-virus software to delete TX-500. The attachment really is K2PS.exe, and once downloaded it secretly records your Internet network info. Your Internet account is then used to access your email and run up charges.
