Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Launchpage.org is a domain's name used to refer users to a nearly identical copy of Google. However, the Launchpage.org claims to offer some improved features such as a collection of quick links to some of the most frequently visited websites around the world – Pinterest, Amazon, LinkedIn, eBay, etc. In addition to this, Launchpage.org also hosts a quick menu that allows users to visit some of the most popular Google services such as Gmail, YouTube, Google Play, etc. instantly. Last but not least, Launchpage.org features a fully functional search function that provides reliable results by taking advantage of the Google's search algorithm. Although Launchpage.org appears to be perfectly safe and, at first, there's nothing suspicious about it, some users might start encountering Launchpage.org every time they launch their Web browser, although they may not remember visiting this page before. This is owed to the fact that Launchpage.org is associated with an aggressive browser hijacker that may modify a Web browser's settings silently so that the users will be taken to Launchpage.org when they perform certain actions.
The good news is that browser hijackers are not threatening, and their installation is not likely to lead to any issues. For example, the Launchpage.org hijacker may do just one thing – it may modify the users' new tab page or homepage to Launchpage.org so that these users will be taken there whenever they attempt to load one of these pre-defined pages.
Although using the Launchpage.org website does not seem like an issue at the moment, there's no way to guarantee that the page's reputation and reliability will not change in the future. If you did not set Launchpage.org as your default new tab page or homepage knowingly, then you should run an anti-virus scanner that will detect and remove the browser hijacking software responsible for the change.
