LogarithmicEntry is a misleading macOS application that may be delivered to your computer via software bundling, fake advertisements or misleading offers. LogarithmicEntry serves no real purpose, and this probably explains why it does not have an official download page or publisher associated with it. Instead, it relies on fraudulent tricks to get to as many computers as possible. Once LogarithmicEntry is installed, it may modify the macOS 'Launch Daemon' and 'Device Profile' components to grant itself persistence and apply some changes to the default Web browser's behavior.

The changes in question are meant to redirect the user to websites affiliated with LogarithmicEntry's authors. By generating extra traffic for these pages, the authors increase the ad revenue they receive. In the meantime, users will end up having to endure random redirects to unknown websites and an overall poor Web browsing experience.

LogarithmicEntry is considered a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP), and it is advisable to remove it as soon as you can. Since it may apply some hidden changes to your macOS settings, it is best to make sure that LogarithmicEntry is removed fully with the use of a suitable security application.
